How SU3E differs from the neighbouring series
SU3E is the smallest step in the range: thin metal, strip up to 1,500 mm. For thicker metal or wider strip, look at SU3Pro.
When to choose SU3E
- Your parts are cut from thin metal: strip up to 1,500 mm wide, 0.6–1.2 mm thick.
- You want a compact line: one cutting head, manual part unloading as standard. Gantry or robotic unloading can be added.
- Your range includes metal thicker than 1.2 mm or strip wider than 1,500 mm. Then look at SU3Pro.
SU3E: questions and answers
What thickness can the SU3E cut?
From 0.6 to 1.2 mm, with a 1.5–6 kW laser. The exact limit depends on the material and the laser power. For thicker metal, SU3Pro covers 0.6–20 mm.
How wide can the strip be on the SU3E?
Up to 1,500 mm. The decoiler takes coils from 10 to 15 t.
Can the SU3E unload parts automatically?
Manual unloading is standard. Gantry unloading, robotic unloading and a restacking robot with machine vision are options.
Operators, coil change time, unattended running, installation time, warranty and certification are the same for all four series, as are the standard equipment and the options. See the series comparison.
