Compared with SU3E, SU3Pro takes wider strip (up to 2,150 mm) and much thicker metal (0.6–20 mm), and cuts from coil as well as from sheet.
When to choose SU3Pro
- You cut from coil and from sheet on the same line, including long blanks.
- Your strip is wider than 1,500 mm (up to 2,150 mm) or your metal is thicker than 1.2 mm (up to 20 mm, laser 3–60 kW).
- You need several cutting heads working on one strip. Then look at SU4.

What is the thickest material the SU3Pro cuts?
The series covers 0.6–20 mm with 3–60 kW lasers. In the SU3Pro 16100 configuration, a 12 kW laser cuts hot-rolled steel 1.5–6.3 mm thick with a yield strength up to 800 MPa. The limit for your material depends on the laser power and is fixed in the quotation.
How long can a part be on the SU3Pro?
The standard cutting zone is 1,500 × 3,000 mm. The SU3Pro 16100 configuration has a zone of 1,600 × 10,000 mm.
